Default What Grinds Your Gears?

Basically, in this thread express your bad driving stories or biggest pet peeves! I want this to be the longest thread of bad stories.

I'll start with...

People tailgating you when you're driving the speed limit or 5 over the posted.

I absolutely detest when people ride my ass. I seldom drive over 60 because of MPG. The speed limit here in Ohio is 55 on the highway so I stay in the middle lane but when I drive to Kentucky to work the speed limit is 65 so I digress to the far right lane. I still have people riding my ass wanting me to go into the middle lane just so they don't have to switch lanes... road rage is incredible here and traffic is abysmal. I drive 35 minutes to work and an hour and a half back simply due to rush hour. What's worse, KY has a "no fault" law making it NOBODY'S fault if you get rear-ended! This just means both parties insurance goes up because someone thinks they're gonna get there quicker or make me go faster. Recently I've been driving my '98 escort (beater from hell) because it gets better MPG and I believe as bad as it looks people probably think I don't have insurance!!! I'm sure the plates on my new V don't help much but thats why I chose 'em!

I agree, especially when you hold the door open for somebody when exiting or entering a building and not being thanked.
