Talking Heyo

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a brand new 2017 Versa Note SR and I'm from Brampton Ontario. It was sort of a rush buy because my last car was on it's last thread and did not want to fix it anymore. Looking at it now should've gotten the SV with Manual Transmission... but the interior seats were way to nice on the SR. Since it's brand new, I'm not touching the engine to avoid voiding warranty on the transmission and I want to do a number of things;

- Ceramic Tint windows
- Yellow Fog lights
- Coilovers (don't know which one yet)
- Rims - XXR 530 17x7 4x100 +35
- Tires - Yokohama S.Drive - 205/40/17 edit: actually, I thrash my car around way too much. Probably 45 instead of 40

In the future, find a nice front lip (if companies ever make one for this model) and swap engines w/ manual transmission? (hahahaha *insert image of money burning*)

I really like this car so far. The only problem I have is the lack of control at highway speeds when the wind will literally push you 4 feet sidways, hence the coilovers fixing that issue. It may also be the 185/40 winter tires I have on right now.

My only real question to you guys is which coilovers will work with with the 2017 model?

I've been looking around and haven't seen anyone do it yet, probably because it's brand new still. I think the BC Racing Coilovers will work and I saw someone post that they were selling theirs. So I might grab those but I got to talk to the insurance people first about it.

Welcome aboard.

Cant say much other than to avoid metal based window tint. It blocks radio waves for wifi, gps and your phone. I found out the hardway.

I don't think you can get a manual unless you get a base model? I've never seen or heard of a 5 speed SV for the sedan or hatchback, but maybe its just the way they do the build/price options on the website.

Automakers do different models/options for different markets.

Welcome to the forums! I like your future plan. Great wheel choice btw...I used to have those on my 2010 sedan.

Beware that +35 offset with coil overs, I run a coil over +40 w/ same tire except a 45 series and have no trouble. The +35 will hit lowered. Q
