I am frustrated as to why I cannot figure out what's all over my our Nissan Rogue Paint. I don't have our camera on me right now. I know pictures would of been better but there are all these white spots that look like they could be chips but you can't feel anything in the paint. There all over the front end and there are some white scratches that once again you can't feel but there just there. I have tried everything Rubbing compound, Nu Finish, Armor All detailer spray, differen't car washes. And nothing has taken them out. Does anyone know what they could be?

Also there are so many that it would take FOREVER to to go over them with a touch up pen. Is there another way to fix them?

what color is it? If its a darker color it could be the primer showing through. The final coat of paint is a thin coat on newer cars. Maybe you drove behind a truck that was hauling some chemicals or something I dont know try checking at a dealer or a local paint shop.

It's a dark red. I don't know the exact color or code.

Tried a clay bar yet? I would go to a good paint and body shop and see what they have to say about it.

The bottom front of my bumper is covered in tiny white specks too ... It's all from highway driving. If they made a bra for the sport bumpers I would have bought it for all the long trips I take but they don't so there isn't much I can do about it. It's not noticeable unless you look close. I have tried claying the area, and putting rubbing compound on it, didn't do much.

I should say the Rogue is my dads car. I have a 09 Versa hatchback that got repainted and since the paint was still soft it chipped like no tomorrow. So I know what your talking about on the Versa.

Update!! I used some Meguiars Rubbing Compound which is not supposed to damage the clear coat even tho I may of gone overboard by going over the bumper 4 to 5 times but I don't think it did any damage. I went over the hood twice and all that work seemed to pay off! The areas with scratches and white marks now look like a mirror! Holy cow it worked great!!!!!

Those are stone chips. Thin paint on these cars is brutal. I'm thinking of respraying my front bumper/hood then getting my friends dad to throw the 3M clear bra on it... great product.
