NVF:How, when & why did you first acquire your Nissan Versa?
robj80: Well one morning my g20 didn't want to hold an idle. I heard nissan had a brand new gas sipper, easy on the wallet model versa coming out. I decided that day I was just going to get down to the lot and walk away with a new car. I needed something reliable and that needed less maintenance.

NVF:What were your original plans for the car and have they changed?
robj80: The original plans were to find as many euro and jdm Nissan parts and put them on the car. These included roof spoiler, cup holder, cargo tray liner etc. But after damaging two doors when she was practically new I decided to not spend any money on her and just get my monies worth by keeping up on the maintenance and driving her until she dies.

NVF:What performance modifications have you made to your car?
robj80: I have no performance mods at all. Unless you consider synthetic oil a performance mod

NVF:Any cosmetic modifications to the interior or exterior?
robj80: Only cosmetic mod I have done is adding chrome bulbs to the front and back. I didn't like the look of the orange bulb through the head and tail lights. The chrome bulb allows me to retain my orange blinkers but looks much cleaner when off.

NVF:Have you made any upgrades to the stock sound system?
robj80: Well my 1.6 didn't come with a radio. So I purchased a stock S radio for really cheap and plugged it in. Nice of nissan to include the wiring harness and the speakers. Made is simple to install.

NVF:Any future modifications we should look out for?
robj80: I don't think so. I'm just trying to keep her reliable and stock. I still would grab a euro cupholder with the lid if I could find it. I also will be throwing on some altima rims very soon. I already test fitted them. Only reason is because I got a great deal and it came with two brand new tires.

NVF:How and when did you first find Nissan Versa Forums?
robj80: I just bought my versa and did a google search. Another forum came up that I was familiar with so I joined. After being there a little bit I seen someone had a link to this one in their sig. Good timing because that forum removed the link soon after. I checked this one out and seen there was a howto for the SRS light. I thought with useful info like that then this must be the right forum for me.

NVF:How has this site benefited you?
robj80: I have met alot of cool people and with some really great write ups learned how to do so much to my versa.

NVF:Any last comments you would like to make?
robj80: Just want to say thanks to everyone how contributes positively on here. Hope this forum sticks around alot longer and more useful info pops up.
