To disconnect it, you simply locate it (it was in the trunk for me) and unplug the 32-pin connector. We then bypassed the 3 pins as I mentioned, and now the steering wheel controls are all functional! I was able to finally get my phone paired, which is amazing.
I'm about to put a '15 radio (with BT audio) into my '14 Versa Note (phone-only BT), so I'm going to have to do the same thing to my BT module. Do you have to remove the whole trim panel to get to the module, or is it possible to pull out just one side of it and reach in?
