Alignment and camber

I'm getting new tires, front brakes and a few other things for my Hatch tomorrow and realize I more than likely need to have it aligned. Other than having it put to factory specs would adding a degree or 2 of camber help with handling or tire wear? If so, all suggestions are appreciated.

I'm running -2 degrees of camber in the front and it seems to handle much better. I feel like there's less understeer. You're going to need to purchase cambolts to adjust the camber though. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Ususally negative camber will cause some uneven tire wear but if you're only wanting a degree or two, then as long as you keep up with your tire rotations you'll probably never notice it. It's your toe that'll kill your tires so be sure that's within specs.
