I tend to prefer JBL, but I'd probably run whatever you told me would fit.

If you are wanting to use the grill that comes with the speakers you will be limited to 5.25 max size. Almost all apillar you see with speakers use 4" or smaller.

No its actually very affordable. Less than 100 for both front doors for deadener and foam.
