A/C Receiver Drier question

I'm planning to do a compressor swap right now . Can't take the hit to the rpm's or the annoying vibrations anymore. It works ok but it needs new bushings and I don't want spent out an immense amount of money for it. Do I need a new A/C Receiver Drier or can I bake it in the oven as I have seen in other posts or will pulling a vacuum for a while remove moisture from it along with the rest of the system? How much will custom hoses cost to have made?

Seems that all the people selling AC compressors on Ebay indicate that a new drier needs to be installed or the warranty is voided. Also I found a note below.

"An ac drier is a critical part of any cars ac system. The drier serves as a filter for the entire system which captures debris and moisture. Any time you're replacing an ac compressor you must change the drier and flush the system. Debris and moisture in an ac system can destroy a new ac compressor which is why you need to purchase a new drier when you purchase a new ac compressor."
