Be sure to post some pics if you can

I'll definetly have some before and after pics posted.

Especially the areas of damage.

You'll gasp in horror at the size of tar build up this poor 4 year old car has. I'm blown away why the dealer didnt take the time to remove it.

Would you recommend claying, touch up paint/clear coat areas where needed then wax?

I wonder how long it takes touch up pen paint to dry.

I might just re-clay the areas I'm about to touch up paint as a porep procedure to remove the wax and dirt filaments.

Your car looks awesome, I'd love to discuss mods with you

Thanks I would love to help

My car is over 4 years old now too, and I hope people can't tell that she is that age. I take really good care of her. The clay wasn't even that dirty this time around. I was quite surprised.

I'd recommend detailing your entire car first, so wash & clay. Then touch up the areas that need it, let it fully dry, then add the coat of wax over the car. Just what I would do..

Personally, I also use Meguiars NXT Generation wash and NXT Tech wax 2.0. About $30 for both, I use a higher concentration on the wash, about 5 caps full LOL, needs the suds, car gets dirtier here in Hawaii. Then dry the car indoors, and wax after 30 minutes. MAke sure the car is cooled down. Apply, wait for haze, then finish off with microfiber.

Also note, after you wax, make sure there is no dust flying around, it will stick and never come off until you strip the top layer, learned that the hard way. Dad used the dryer, and now my car has tiny lint spots all over the car. It's not visible from 5 feet, but still painful.

P.S. Tried the Turtle Wax Black Box (cause my versa is black), POS system. ANd it ain't cheap, NXT works way better, and easier.
