I used scads of their parts back in the '70s and '80s, they were a rock solid parts maker. They've probably been resold since then like most big parts makers back then have. I sold the line in '09-'13 and ran into no quality issues then. They were a whopping OEM supplier back when and may still be.

I swear by Rock Auto, I do virtually no OTC parts buying at all any longer. The move by all chains to lifetime warranty has so inflated their pricing that only those not in the know buy over the counter any longer. Of course, if you have to have the car running tomorrow online buying can't work. I made sure it worked for me many years ago so as not to be trapped into the parts chain horror story, having worked parts 3 times you get a solid idea of how much ripping off goes on there. Brick and mortar stores are DEAD. I have kept 3 and usually 4 cars running at virtually all times for more than 30 years, it allows you to drop one out to fix needed things without having to rush it.

The last go-round I got 40% off being an employee but Rock Auto could even beat that, an idea of how bad it is.

The problem with online buying is that one must be dead sure he has the correct part in mind and under the mouse or multiple fiasco errors, a lot of people complain about that (blaming RA of course) but I have ordered way more than hundreds of parts from them and not one error yet.
