RPM VS Speed?

I'm driving a 2016 Versa Note SV with CVT:

On a long level stretch driving at 45 MPH my RPM will be right at 1500.

Does this seem about right?

What RPM do you run at 45 MPH?

Nothing wrong with that. The CVT simply fakes low load overdrive in a 4 speed ATX by gearing waaaaay long there. If you call for more torque like a hill it should speed up on the tach as the trans reconfigures the sprockets.
