Hi,
I need help in replacing the tension pulley and belt on my Nissan Versa 2007.
I'm a newbie mechanic and searched youtube videos but it is not detailed for me.
From what I have seen, the tension pulley can be either removed from:
a: passenger side by removing wheel and fender lining
b: engine top side by removing strut and engine mounts
Removing the wheel and fender lining seems a lot of work specially all those fender push pins so I'm favoring removing the engine mounts since I have done this before already. My concern is removing the T50 bolt that holds the tension pulley which seems a long bolt.
Is there enough space for the ratchet (1/2 socket or 3/8 socket or 1/4 hex T50) and the bolt to go in and out after removing the motor mounts?
Can I easily install the belt after removing the motor mounts?
Thank you.
Doug
