Austiida's Supercharger Thread

Fellow Versa/Tiida owners, welcome to my thread for the next few weeks of serious mod time!

After almost 12 months of planning, saving, researching and more saving, I'm finally ready to take the Tiida to the next level!

Supercharger will be a Rotrex supercharger (similar to Bob @ Versaspeed, many thanks to him for his help across the miles!) and will be a full, custom install.

This Friday the new exhaust system goes on, consisting of OBX headers, dump pipe, and a Varex, variable electronic exhaust (see pics below). I'm also replacing the two oxygen sensors, something EVERY car owner overlooks after 100,000kms.

Next week we fit boost gauge, Air/Fuel gauge, custom tablet and OBDII reader (so we can see what's happening once the charger goes on) and some carbon fiber race seats.

Then the following week we start fab work on the intercooler and piping, then hopefully the charger gets here and we can start working on the mount etc.

I shall update this thread as the project goes on, but to start with here's the exhaust and the Varex muffler. The Muffler is remote controlled and has a gate which allows you to basically have a straight through, no restrictions muffler, or by pressing the remote you can quiet it down to a hush hush (perfect for when the boys in blue are around). Pics of it in action soon

My god...for that much money I'd just buy a 350z, haha. But seriously sounds pretty crazy. Hope the whole install goes well! Post lots of pics!

lol, in Australia your talking $3000 to $15000, so not much of a comparo mate (as much as I'd DIE for a 350Z in my driveway!) You guys forget that in Aus we pay rude amounts of dollars for most things you lot take for granted

Plus working in the auto trade I'm not really paying retail for too much

And all that aside, I LOVE being the only hardcore modded Tiida in the country

Hate being in the square, love thinking outside it!

They actually have them for the Versa as well. So I'm sure this one is for the Versa

Yeah they are OBX headers for the Versa. There is literally nothing aftermarket for the Tiida/Versa here so had to import them direct from USA.

Will post more pics as we progress!

Nice shiny parts pile! This seems well thought out. Are you tuning through the tablet? Any special software? Good luck. Keep us posted please, you can't take to many pictures, lol.
