Just got rear ended by a 2005 nissan frontier today, insurance will go after the other guys insurance and likely present a check HOWEVER The damage is limited to my bumper cover and a cracked up taillight, no metal:nerd: body panels were damaged. So as I see it I can buy a taillight and bumper cover (primed) for 160 bucks shipped, And I wanted to dip the car yellow anyway so no worries on paint matching. The money would pay for the paint and my car payments the next year or so (I hope).

My question IS does anyone have experience with the bumper covers and taillights being removed? any pics? advice etc etc. Thanks in advance

Buy good penetrating fluid and soak as many mount bolts as you can, although it comes off the same way as the front so there's only really the two on either side near the gap where the quarter panel meets. Soak the license plate lamp screws, looks like you have a newer car so they shouldn't be seized with rust yet... Unless you find you can pull it off and twist them out from inside.
