fuel pressure regulator - hard starting

We all know about the TSB NtB07-094:

Quote:
Make : NISSAN Model : VERSA Year : 2008
Manufacturer : NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
Service Bulletin Number : NTB07-094 Date of Bulletin : MAR 11, 2008
NHTSA Item Number : 10024201
Component : ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE
Summary :
2007-2008 VERSA; LONG CRANK TIME BEFORE ENGINE START. VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 3N1BC1 (***)8L422377 / JANUARY 12, 2008. *NJ
I can not find the fix for this online. I have read before it's the fuel pressure regulator and even seen a pic of the kit before that nissan offers to dealers to fix it. I would like to see those pics again (they have been removed), and know of the pressure regulator cost and location. I am led to beleive it's on the pump but the nissan online parts isn't showing the regulator, just the pump. As is the FSM. I will check nissan FAST when I go home but figured I would start a thread.

I am 1k shy of my warranty and I'm probably not going to take it in. I do have hard starting in the morning. I want to know what I'm up against and possibly make a howto. Ironically I'm not even listed on the tsb as I have an 09 but maybe the info I pasted above was old.

What the cost to replace the FPR? I had issues with mine after 5k miles then it just went away, which is good.

My dad's the one that noticed it not turning over as quickly as it should. So when I went to get my sunroof fixed in September he told them to replace the FPR too, and they did. He figured they might as well change it since I was there anyways.
