Drawing to many amps?

So I have a stock 2009 1.8 SL hatchback with the CVT.
I notice sometimes when I am coming to a stop, my car shudders, that has to do with tranny I think, but i also notice that when car is idle, with headlights, stock radio on if I turn steering wheel, RPM's drop noticeably. It seems to me that car draws to many amps while idling with light and radio on.
anyone else notice this? I also have a bad ground somewhere because when i have ipod plugged into input on 6 disk changer and i turn on running lights or head lights I get the bad ground buzz through speakers....

Well there is no ground connection in the radio. If you go with my original sound system, you can make your own ground for the radio. I used to have issues too. My radio would turn off and stay off, until next start. When I did my audio system and made a ground, I haven't had one problem.

I notice when I have the car running with radio on, heat on and phone charging, and go to power down the window (or power up) I feel a slight vibration in the pedal and RPM increase; but that's it. I never notice a buzz going through the radio though; and my radio has never just shut off.

Yeah I think the alternator kinda sucks. Its good for very minimal operation.

it sounds to me like you may have to run a dedicated ground wire to your head-unit chassis from the body recommend 14guage speaker wire for simplicity sake.

Note: Peak ALT output is at roughly 2,000RPM's so noticeing revs change at lower RPM's / idle when running full load on the electrical system is normal.

I agree with mcleod. Also if u look at where ur head unit connects to the car stero wiring there is a black wire which is ground n if ur head unit isn't conneceted to thatv that could be ur problem.
Also it may look connected but make sure the pins where tgey connect match to the ground.
