Question 2012 Nissan Versa: Both low beam headlights out, not the fuses

I had both low beam headlights go out on me recently. High beams working fine, rear lights working fine.
Checked the fuses, they looked fine. Changed them out, still not working.

I've asked around and one person told me it might be the relay that I need to change, but another told me the rear lights wouldn't be working if it was the relay. Can't find very specific advice online so far and the manual is not much help, unfortunately.

If it's not the relay, I'm assuming there's something wrong with the switch, in which case, I'll probably have to take it to a shop. I'm not sure how simple it is to change, so I don't know if I want to attempt it.

Anyone else had a similar issue/advice on what to try first? Is there another possible issue I might be missing?

Thanks!

There is usually a seperate relay for low beams, i would recomend replacing that first.

LOW BEAM OPERATION
When the lighting switch is in 2nd position, the BCM
receives input requesting the headlamps to illuminate.
This input is communicated to the IPDM E/R across
the CAN communication lines. The CPU of the IPDM E/R
controls the headlamp low relay coil which supplies power to the low beam headlamps.

HIGH BEAM OPERATION/FLASH-TO-PASS OPERATION
With the lighting switch in the 2nd position and placed in
HIGH position, the BCM receives input requesting the
headlamp high beams to illuminate. The flash to pass f
eature can be used any time and also sends a signal to
the BCM. This input is communicated to the IPDM
E/R across the CAN communication lines. The CPU of the
combination meter controls the ON/OFF status off the
HIGH BEAM indicator. The CPU of the IPDM E/R con-
trols the headlamp high relay coil which supplies power to the high beam headlamps.
The combination meter receives a high beam request
signal (ON) through the CAN communication lines and
turns the high beam indicator lamp ON.
