Milage drop

Hi, first post here and not sure if it's in the right place so sorry if it's not.

My wife has an 07 Versa hatchback. We had been getting 30-33 MPG. We went and did the 90k tranny maintenance and had the brakes done as well. now it has dropped to 25-26 MPG. Any ideas on the problem?

When you let off the gas does it slow down faster than normal? My thinking is that when they did the brake job a caliper might be sticking or the rear drums might be adjusted too much and causing the shoes to be constantly touching the drums. You can check by lifting the car at each wheel and see if it spins freely.
