Hi Guys -

I'm an old dude who's new to this forum. Just bought a new 2017 Versa Note this summer.

I see, from the official Nissan site, that my Versa is supposed to take 3.2 quarts of oil.

That said, I'm going out to change my oil right now.

Are you sure it is 3.2 qt according to Nissan? For my 2017 Versa 5sp. sedan it is 3.75 qt according to manual (although it actually takes 3 qt).

3.2 quarts puts my '15 right at the full mark - and yes, mine says 3.75 too.

Dealership by me in New Jersey charges $19.95 to change the oil and you get a free car wash to boot. Not worth my time or effort to do it myself, plus the change is documented in the event that your need to use your power train warranty for any problems down the line!!!

Some dealerships in my general area provide a free car wash if they sold you a car. No service required, just stop by for a free car wash. I guess it is considered already prepaid...

Getting back to you gents about oil capacity.

I put in 3.25 quarts, with the filter change, and I'm sitting right at full.
