So I need to order a new ECU. The dealer told me it's shorting out causing the anti theft to randomly turn on and off.
So my question is, if I get a new ecu will all i need to do is put it in and get it programmed at the dealer?
Also do the exact model numbers matter? I've looking at getting an mec901251 A1 ecu. But the ones I'm finding have that model but a different ending. Mine is mec901251 A1 OY14b and the ones I find have different ending then the OY14B.

Yes you will need to get it programmed after.
Don't quote me on this but the other numbers are related to the calibration. You can ask if there are any updates when you get it programmed.
