Expected cost of fuel pump replacement?
My car (Versa 2007 1.8L hatchback) has weird acceleration issues where after driving it for a while, it starts knocking and losing power when I press the pedal. I've been digging around on the internet and it looks like it's a fuel pump issue. (There are no lights on the car, the dealer also inspected it and said nothing's wrong). How much should I expect to pay a 3rd party mechanic for the replacement? The fuel pump itself is about $60 on amazon.
Here is a ballpark estimator: https://repairpal.com/estimator
Pumps are usually in the fuel tank and those are usually accessible by the back seat. Id say 2-3 hours.
Nissan didnt offer to connect a data logger with a button to push when it acts up?!?!?! :surprise
