Went in for a recall, dealer broke things.

Hey guys!

I think it's been a while since I posted anything but that's because everything has been going so smoothly for a while now!

I got a white 2009 Versa

So anyways, I went into the dealership for an airbag recall for the driverside.

I went in with everything working but now somethings are broken.

The driver side auto up down feature goes auto down but does not go auto up again and the overdrive button (I'm sorry I drive a CVT Automatic, I took the car from my wife and we bought her a different ride) doesn't work or light up on the dash anymore.

I am betting it's a fuse, but as I am not well educated in automobile electronics, I am assuming the dealership messed with the fuses or something.

[I did complain to the dealership and told them it is definitely their fault, but they kept on refusing to look at it without charging me $130.00 to diagnose the issue]

Because the dealership is just being unreasonable, I thought I would try and mend it myself with any help I can find online.

Thanks for the help in advanced!

While I do not have an automatic so I can't help you with the overdrive issue..the power auto up for the windows is an easy fix. Because I'm at work I can't really take the time to search for the answer, but if you search this forum something like 'auto up window' you should find a thread talking about this issue. It happens every time the battery is disconnected. The fix is easy, all you do is a combination of up and down on the window..or something like that.

Thanks! I did find the tread!

https://www.nissanversaforums.com/how...rs-window.html

I will give that a shot but I still need to find the solution to the overdrive issue (seriously if i had a manual this wouldn't be a problem)

If anyone knows a solution, that would be super helpful and I will continue my search to find the fix!
