Flashing red light

Hello. I bought a Nissan Versa 2012 today. There is a red light flashing and clicking during the drive. Is there anyone know what it is and can i stop it? I just took a video of it right here;https://streamable.com/dj52k

That looks like some type of aftermarket installation. Alarm system? Ejection seat? Flux capacitor?

X2, that position is normally used by an electric mirror switch. If a blanking plug was there it's easy to use the hole for something else.

I'm sorry. I must be missing something. You bought the car with a red light flashing and didn't ask the dealer/owner to explain it?

Maybe go back and ask....

That for sure, looks like aftermarket addon. Looks like some kinda of a alarm?
Or it's baby H.A.L << ignore this if you don't get the joke

Does your car have an alarm?
Does it have a key fob and/or a chipped key?

btw, I got my versa at a repo auction
