A/C Blower stopped working Nissan Versa 2012 SV. Here's what I have checked.
1. 2 fuses for the blower on the left driver side have continuity
2. The climate control seems to be working, if I click the A/C button and turn the fan knob, the AC light does come on and I hear the A/C clutch engage, however no fan blowing on any of the settings, I've tried the defroster as well.
3. I've unplugged the blower resister under the driver side and tried using a multi meter, theres 4 wires , yellow, white, red, blue. And tried moving the fan settings to see if I have any resistance changes and I don't see any, not sure if I'm testing correctly, I also tried checking for 12V with no success.
Also, should there also be 12V at the fuses when the fan blower is on?
What other ways can I check for electrical continuity? or has anyone ran into an issue like this? I don't think its the blower resistor at this point.
Typically if you loose the resistor, you loose just the low speeds on the fan and have full blast only. It's not uncommon for the blower motors to fail. They usually make noise before they go, but not always. I believe blower motor replacement is easier on the 2007-2012 than it is on the 2013+
