Question ?'s

megan racing springs? any1 use them? they are a lot cheaper than other springs and they have a greater drop rate. lookin for some info. ride quality and performance?

is there a short shifter available? i was racing around last night and begging for one...

has any1 installed aftermarket racing seats? im contemplating it and i think it would be a fun project...

i want a nos kit lol.

this last one is for the sake of interest. from my perspective, it seems that the v is a perfect candidate for a rear mount turbo. the other turbo'd V's iv seen have a lot of clearance issues with our generally small engine bay but from spending i couple hours inspecting the v it seems like if we relocated the battery to under the dash on the passenger side (or trunk or wherever you prefer) that it would open up the engine bay enough for the piping required. and leave room for the intake which has been an issue for turbo v's. any1 else have any thoughts on this?

Megan Racing spring, ask Codelicious about that. He says they ride ok, personally, I'd go with Tanabe because they're made in Japan. It's less of a drop but the quality is there.

Not sure about short shifters around. The only companies I know is Neuspeed and Skunk2. That's something many people never talk about but I will do some research and get back to you on that.

BlueMango had some aftermarket seats from Sparco. She used them for a car show but had to return them. They were plug 'n play.

If you want a NOS kit, we'll have to start a thread, get enough people to begin a group buy. ZEX makes a universal 4 cyl nitrous system, take a look into it.

I'll add your name to the list of members interested in a Turbokit for the V.

i asked a friend last night about megan spring and he said that with springs you get what you pay for no matter the brand.

bob at versaspeed said something about working on a short throw shifter soon.

I have the Megan Racing Springs and they honestly aren't bad. The reason why I decided to get them over the others is that they have the most drop and they are Orange (color scheme of my car). The springs ride fine for me but I also don't have to go over very many pot holes or bumps. When I go over speed bumps I don't haul a** over them either. If you drive like that and don't have rough roads they should be fine.

But if you have rough roads and haul a** over bumps I suggest Eibach or Tanabe springs.

I do plan on upgrading to Coilovers *FAIRLY* soon. Probably when I get my taxes back (lol)

I thought that I heard the Versa couldn't generally handle the Turbokit. I know that the Fox turbo wasn't designed to actually last but more for show. So there is no telling what that kit is going to do to your car over a certain amount of time.

Moving the battery to the back doesn't seem like that big of a task either. I'm sure you could just extend the battery cables and run them through the firewall and under the carpet or something. Would be interesting and would free up some space. I think thats a really good idea.

I'd like to see a Supercharger since I am CVT and all.

I think it would be cool to attempt to move my battery to the back anyways. Seems like an interesting little project.

The other day I drove a 2.5L Altima and it was quite faster. Maybe it's possible to swap for an Altima or Sentra engine.

Ive thought about that from time to time. Like an altima motor, or a sentra SE-R motor. But I always thought an AWD V6 versa would be a cool car, and I bet it would be fast, and handle great!! lol.
