Should I replace the wheel?

I hit the curb today. The rim is ok, but where it hit is a little messed up. Do I need to replace the wheel?

I'm no expert, but I'd say YES. You need a new rim. Even if you can drive on it for now, it won't balance well at highway speed and is a potential safety hazard.

Ok. Replace or repair? I can get a rim off of eBay for under 50. Will a tire place swap the rim after a few days?

Replace. Don't drive on, at least not at highway speeds. Bead surface contact area compromised.

Sledgehammer will fix that right up. But don't be surprised if you see a bubble in the sidewall soon. At least move it to the rear.
