Nice work, I was thinking I would pay my '17 off in 12 months with only 7k financed (apparently the minimum financing allowed).

Thanks Chad. Yeah would be good for you to pay off as well when you drive it free and clear, there's a different hummm to it..... since the car is so cheap, it was easier to just focus and knock it out.... if this baby lasts me up to 200k miles or 6 years with no fixes i'd be so happy..

CobB I just basically cut my disposible income each month to zinch.... nothing... and packed food for lunch, didn't spend on anything else. do extra work. sell off stuff. lived frugal and slap 1k+ a month on payment and voila!!!! anyone can do it....waiting for my title in the mail from the bank! there's just something about a clear and free mind when you don't have a car note to pay each month. granted interest rate was under 3% so no big deal. yes i could have invested that money each month but i also do that, so it's a balance.

Great job. I got too many side projects that have escalating needs.

1, adding a car play radio to the versa.
2, upgrading charging system and adding rear battery to odyssey.
3, Moms desktop that got the ransomware virus.
4,upgrading sub in versa kicker all in one sub not doing it. Ordered a kicker 500 watt rms amp 6 inch truck box sealed unit. If that doesnt cut it going to use parts to make a 2nd order band bass using the sub, passive radiator, wire box. Had an 8 inch band pass with a jbl sub in my other car and loved it.

Ive managed to not eat out at least 3 days a week and been driving the versa vs odyssey so saving gas. I already use coupons and only buy fast food at the fast food places for lunch. I buy sodas on sale as well as bottled water and use generic K cups for coffee and coffee at work.
