Don't elevate without jack stands for safety!
Crush washer in good shape.
Filter located on front side of engine block.
Previous 6607 filter here, plenty of room for longer 7317:
Bought filter wrench today. Bent plastic out of way to use wrench.
Took a little wiggling to tighten the wrench and loosen the filter.
Some drippage after filter removal. Be prepared!
Can see threads well enough to install new one.
Comparing 7317 [left] to 6607 filter
Some room to hand-tighten, but not much!
Wrenching on new filter: do NOT overtighten!
I wouldn't bother with wrench if I had Fram with grippy end.
Ahhhh, golden goodness...
Is the drain plug back in?
