I have a 2015 Nissan Versa SV. A few weeks ago my battery died just due to being old and the radio stopped working after it died. I had the battery jump started and replaced that day but the radio still will not come on weeks later. I have been trying to find a solution to this but I can't find a clear answer. I checked the fuses and did not see a blown fuse. Everything else works find except for the radio. I really don't want to pay to have the dealership reprogram it.

You mentioned that you checked the fuses. I have found out the hard way that sometimes a fuse will "look" good, but it can still be blown in areas that are hard to see. What I normally do is remove the fuse, and check it with a multi-tester to make sure that it is in fact good and then reinstall it.

Below is one poster who followed this procedure and it seem to work for him:

My daughter's Versa's radio & clock stopped working. After going through the monkey motion of checking various fuses (which were fine), I disconnected and reconnected the car battery. Radio/clock immediately started working.

Did NOT work for me.The "window" of the radio lights up & I hear static, but when I try the instructions for programming it found in manual, nothing responds.Any further suggestions? ANYONE??
