Here are a couple links to the two items you will need.

If you just want an aux input and your on a budget just but a stock used versa radio that has an aux input. Can find them cheap and they are plug n play.

i saw a place here in Winnipeg called Advance Electronics run by Nick and i think i got a steal,he gave me an offer for a 300dollar Kenwood 2Din stereo for only 149..and the 60 for the harness, antenna adapter and dash kit..

What do you guys think? i'll post pics when they get it installed hopefully this Saturday because they still order the dashkit online.

Kenwood is another great brand, I say if it suits your needs go for it, I'm digging how this one looks. I'm not too experienced with the older Versas (I have a 2012 Sedan) but I didn't need a dash kit for mine, I just took the mounts off my stock head unit and put them on my aftermarket head unit and it all fit perfect so I'm thinking yours will be the same as well. Hopefully someone will come on here who has done a double din in your model to help clear that up.

Quick question, whats the difference between installaion kit and dash kit? Or are they the same because while surfing and knowing about my recently bought Kenwood but not yet installed because the shop said the dash kit needs to be order online and i saw this post in crutchfield:

What you need to know:
You won't need an installation kit to install a new receiver.
You'll need to use the factory radio's brackets in order to install your new receiver. If you don't have the brackets, you can obtain them from your dealership.
And someone also said "Did not need the Metra DIN Head dash kit whatsoever." Can someone clarify this so i can cancel the my order to them and have it install asap if i dont really need that dash kit because thats only the reason why my stereo is still laying around in my house. And also it can save me 20dollars if i cancel the kit.

They are the same thing, you only need a dash kit when the head units are not the same size or by chance the brackets are not able to be used. I'm 99% sure you won't need an installation kit man.

its been a week and yet my stereo is not installed..i will definitely not recommend ADVANCE Electronics, they leave me hanging, they told us that they all have the parts and once i called them for my confirmation for installation they told us that they order online for the dash kit (which we dont need) so to make the story short... those people over there are not reliable and will not, never gonna go their for my audio needs..
