Just looked at Nissans website and the SV trim comes standard with Map lights, so OP....your SV is an SV in name only.
This must be a late 2014 MY change. I have a printed 2014 Versa Sedan sales brochure that lists an available Convenience Package for the SV. The Convenience Package includes, Allow Wheels, Bluetooth MP3 Radio, Steering Wheel Audio Controls, Keyless entry and trunk release, vanity mirror, etc. Apparently they made these (except for the allow wheels) standard on the SV (with a corresponding price increase, I'd bet). The website currently does not even show a Convenience Package available on the SV.
Common practice for OEMs to have rental fleets dictate what equipment they want to have on the vehicles they buy, however in this case I think Geeman's SV is what was available to retail buyers at that time.
