Dashboard

I have a 2015 versa note and IIA really bothered by the dashboard when I get in my car whilst I am in Uniform (I'm in the military) I tend to put my cover (hat) on the dashboard but it seems that it slides with every turn I take and has almost fallen out of the window a few times. I was wondering if there was anything out there to provide more traction so my cover doesn't slide about everywhere. I have seen dashboard covers but they are all carpet and Thays not really what I want.
