Installing micro filter: Trouble removing glove box

So I am trying to put a micro filter in the empty slot in my 2012 Versa SV. All the videos online show that all you need to do is take out the glovebox and put in the filter. But after taking out 10 bolts, the glove box still won't budge. What could be holding it?

Is your Versa a sedan or hatchback? If it is a sedan, then the cabin filter is not inside the glove box. Instead, it will be in the back of the left side of the front passenger footwell/foot vent (behind the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) controls.

Here is a how-to on installing a cabin filter on the 2012-Present Versa sedan and 2014-Present Versa Note hatchback:

It's a sedan. First the dealership said it does not have a micro filter (which was true) then they said yes there is a slot for it (sigh).
I thought from the videos I found, that the glovebox had to be removed in order to access the slot. I'll look again when I get off work. Thanks!

Talking Installing micro filter

Success! The problem was that the parts store lookup gave me the wrong filter. Today I gave them the Fram number 10545 (that I got here on this forum!) and got the correct filter. Then, following the instructions I received here, it was easy. Thanks to you all for the help!
