Question AC Controller all scratched up?

This is on a 2010 Versa Hatch. I'm not sure how the previous owner did it, but all the labels and indicators for the AC control unit make it seem like the lady was a cat with untrimmed claws. Everything is extremely scratched up and faded. I was wondering if this is something common, and if there's some sort of stickers I could get to put over them and make everything readable again?

The scaling on the climate control around the round portions is common. It has been discussed on here before. Some people thought it was from cleaner but others have said they didn't use cleaners and it has happened.

Oh I see. Guess I'll just have to deal with it or swap it for another unit if I found a way to do it. Thanks!
