2015 versa s plus to a Note/sv guage cluster

Hey all! I'm new, I'm just curious if anybody knows whether or not the auto cluster of a SV trim versa sedan or Note (note looks so much cooler) will be a plug in play and fit in the s plus connector? Has anybody had any success with this?? Any info could help or questions I'll answer.

2015 versa s plus to a Note/sv gauge cluster

Gauge*** My bad. I'm just looking to make my S plus look more "modern" than the plain ole dull black plastic. (Note I have done some trim upgrade on the pieces inside.)

If I were in your shoes I think I would look up the link to the service manual that floats around the forum (only goes up to 2014 I think, but that should suffice) and dig to the part about wiring harness connectors. There are some pretty good detailed pinouts in those PDFs luckily. From there try to compare the S cluster wiring with the SV cluster wiring and see if its all the same. Another thing you can do is look up used clusters on Ebay and see if they have pics of the backsides, see if they at least have the same number of connectors in roughly the same position.

Sight unseen, I would guess there is less than a 3% chance that those clusters are a plug-n-play swap... not to be a debbie-downer.

Me personally I am embracing the flat black, easier to eliminate the few pieces of chrome and silver that I have on my base S than to add in all the shiny doodads of the upscale models =D

Id settle for the Note S dash as it has a temp meter and mini led read out and mechanical gas gauge. I wear polarized sun glasses and many times the lcd read out in the lower right is black like the dash unless I tilt my head sideways.

You can do what was already posted, ask the ebay member too and the parts counter at the dealer.

Well I took two screenshots. From the look of it it looks like the same connector / pigtail, but its not placed in the same place on the back.

Also does the orange led display in the base model have a bulb or can be changed out?

As nice as the SV gauge cluster looks, I'm glad my S Plus doesn't come with it. I like that the S Plus includes a temp gauge. However, it would've been awesome if the SV included a temp gauge since I like the white color and the layout better than the S Plus gauge's orange color. Also, the SV shows the odometer and trip meter simultaneously while the S Plus only shows one or the other; the S Plus cannot show both at the same time.

Built in July 2013. Bought on September 28, 2013.

Orange/red better preserves night vision than white.
