2017 s sedan after market power locks

Just ordered a kit with 4 actuators, control module, and 2 remotes. Just wondering if anyone has figured out how to get the interior lights to come on when you unlock the doors with an aftermarket kit?

The kit I ordered does that - if you wire it in right, it seems like you tap the signal wires. I have not installed mine yet.

It would be easiest if you made sure the kit you ordered was already provisioned for "courtesy lights" as they call them, if it doesn't have that as a built-in feature then you are going to need additional hardware. You could use a cheap timer relay like this which would need to be triggered by the unlock pulse, but that is much easier said than done depending on what the signals of the kit are might have to use an alarm disarm wire off the kit instead or something along those lines, could easily take another regular relay to get it working if its a negative pulse.. you will have all kinds of fun I'm afraid. But if your kit you bought already has provision for courtesy lights it won't be too bad.
