No more Versa

I miss it but could not pass a great deal on a 17 iA manual. If the Versa had cruise and power locks I would of kept it. Traded her in!

You went for a discontinued scion? I had an xa from 06. Got 43 mpg with the 5 speed. I think your model is similar to a mazda than toyota.

My nissan dealer keeps sending me letters wanting my vehicle and to get me into something better.

Yeah, its a mazda2 sedan. The handling is great but sadly i am starting to believe being assembled in Mexico is a pos. The avg mpg is 40.4 driving it moderately eco, but got as high as 42 in slow driving. The Versa S only managed 35.5

428 miles clutch/flywheel was changed since it shudders
535 alignment since they did not do it after dropping the sub frame
850 miles harmonic vibration from the front that is noticeable like a bad tire balance but is not. Had it checked
1600 miles shiftier seems loose and gets stuck when getting out of second
2300 miles could not open the door for the gas tank to pump gas. Thought the cable broke, but actually got off its hook in the trunk.

What bothers me the most is the arrogance of the dealers and incompetence of the techs. They flat out told me its a characteristic of the car, or the car is too new and they do not know if its normal or not. Irony is that its out as a scion.

The Versa actually was extremely solid. Had some panel gap issues but once the car settles it had no issues at 5100 miles. I miss it.

I had a vw fox made in Brazil. Its heat/ac sucked. Why they had 2 doors on a station wagon beats me.

I got the xa as they discontinued the echo and the yaris came with nothing at that price point. The xa came with 5 doors, 160 watt pioneer radio and sport bucket seats.

Cool

Mazda-based iA sold as Scion, will switch to Toyota | Cars | nwitimes.com

I had an xa and 2nd gen xb. I liked all the shows and stuff they had. Got lots of free parts for the cars. The xa got nice mpg and the xb was big and powerful.

The gen 1 xb came with traction control. Something the xa wasnt offered with. All had the same drivetrain. The xb owners are a strange breed of their own. The 2nd gen was more of a seniors vehicle and came with the 2 liter camry engine and 5 speed. I got 18-27 mpg. I didnt like how the pedals go to the floor and the steering. Traded it for a honda before 5 thousand miles.

Got a call from the GM at the Nissan dealer. Said they cant find some good cars at auction and wanted to buy my V. I asked about the 2015 rogue I got as a rental car when my air bag computer was replaced as kbb said it was 15 grand. He said that was correct and he could make me that deal. I asked if he had one with awd and he had a deal.

So, got a fact free brochure on the 2015 rogue no price or spec if its fwd or awd.

Cool

Naw, he was just looking for a quick sale or quick flip. Never heard back.

Nope, dont know about the Rogue. I assumed it was a Murano. Whats a Murano?

Had one of those as a rental car too. The Murano I had from enterprise had a organizer made out of the front dash like the 2 models ago of the honda fit.

Seems a lot of auto manufactures have vehicles that share the same class. Why do we have the versa and sentra? The sentra has been around forevar and is a long lasting eco vehicle.
