As another poster on this forum mentioned, if you have different size tires on your car, it can cause the light to go on. Same goes for extreme differences in the air pressure of the tires being used.

The ABS/limited slip system works by comparing speedometer sensors at each wheel monitoring wheel speed to the actual speed of the whole vehicle. When a wheel slips it appears to go faster than the actual vehicle speed so the car applies the brakes to that wheel to slow it back down. It good to note here that even just a under-pressurized tire can cause the slip light to go off. A tire that is running flat will spin at a different speed and cause issues. It's why it's also good to run 4 of the same tires at each wheel as well.
