Broken Headlight Adjustment Screw?

Hello! I have a 2012 Nissan Versa 1.6 SV. Husband was replacing the headlight bulbs and the adjustment screws broke on both headlights. Now the bulbs aim downward, making nighttime driving a major challenge. Has anyone found where to buy just the headlight adjustment screws? Or do I have no choice but to buy the whole headlight assembly? Thank you in advance.

As another poster mentioned, you might try the local car salvage yard. I did not see the part listed separately on the Nissan parts page. Another suggestion would be to either call or stop in at any Nissan dealership and check with the parts department and see if they have a listing for that light adjuster. I also checked on Ebay, and there are plenty of used headlight assemblies. Just make sure before you order any of them you check with the seller that it will fit your car.

Likely now that all adjusters are considered part of the headlight assembly to get more money out of you.....the unitized assembly thing the entire auto workd has gone to. No separate $1 or $2 parts any longer, they can't keep the dealerships open with cheap sales at parts counters like that.

Junkyard............and hope it is the screws themselves that broke and not the headlight bodies themselves where the screws go in to hold it. If the body is broke you need the whole headlight. Different designs there break in many different ways.

Is there a need to touch the adjustment screws just to change the lamps? Maybe I didn't look this over enough on my 2015 Versa 1.6 S, but there seems to be easy enough access for lamp replacement to not have to touch the headlamp housings?
