2015 sedan facelift coming to NY Auto Show

The face lifted 2015 Versa sedan will be coming to the NY Auto Show, I think it will look like the face lifted Almera/Sunny sedan from other parts of the world.

I think it will be identical as well. Which I'm reallly not too happy about. I wish nissan would dump the sedan and bring over the Micra instead like they did in Canada. But that won't happen as the sedan seems to sell well in the US.

This car to me is just a hot mess. The grill and now the headlights are just freaking huge and not very good looking. The size of them would be more appropriate for a mid size SUV not a compact car. The tacked on chrome bits don't help at all. Chrome doesn't even look good on more expensive car but it is far worse on cheap cars.

I wish nissan would copy and tone down the sports sedan concept, add the 1.2t engine and call it a day. Then I can see this car being something. Hell I think nissan's own new Datsun cars, which are made to be plain, basic and cheap has more appeal than this abomination.

I agree with much of what you said. Looking around even the new Mazda 2 is adapting a more aggressive look based on the 3/6. The new Yaris will be even looking more aggressive.

It's hard to believe the company that gives us the 370Z, GT-R, Maxima the various concept like you mentioned the Sport Sedan, and the funky Juke would be so plain for it's smallest model.

Lets hope the next gen car is more stylish, I would buy a small car that had boomerang headlights and swoopy lines.

As long as they don't have that ugly plastic smooth round bulge sticking out in front like Hyundai and Mazda seem to be addicted to...

They seem to be delibarately making cars look ugly now, and Marc don't buy ugly cars.

Yeah I forgot about those, if they can keep a base car under $20k that would be amazing but I feel it will cost at least BRZ/FRS money $25k.

All Nissan would have to do is adapt the front end and rear end design of the FreeFlow to a small sedan body and offer it up with some small turbo engines that have good torque and some toys like the Chevy Sonic for $16-17K and I would be game.
