Economy

I'm growing sick and tired of this economy not getting better. EVERY FREAKIN GOD DAMN DAY, the news never gets better. There is nothing positive, and the government isn't helping either. Since I've been around, I have never lived in a such a poor excuse of a brave & free country the United States of America represents.

Seriously, I think the US should just start all over from scratch and file for bankruptcy. Our founding fathers would be ashamed to live in this state of society. We need a revolution, and start something that can overthrow the socialist government.

People are getting laid off, and filing jobless claims. I feel sorry for people who don't have a job and have been unemployed for a long period. I mean, what are you suppose to do if you have a family and children to raise? Where do you get money? HOW MUCH LONGER WILL THIS HAPPEN? It had to get better sometime soon!

It's bad here as well especially since we are known as 'steel' town. We have quite a few steel industries in downtown Hamilton, and a lot of individuals have lost their positions with those companies.
I haven't been affected by it in regards to my two jobs. I just need a full-time job as a classroom teacher, and I'll be all set

I have been affected slightly. I still have my job and make the same money. Maybe if the economy was good I would have gotten a raise but who knows. My job cut out the christmas parties but even worse was the bonuses. We use to get $3-5k and now nothing.

My exwife lost her job which meant I didn't get any child support from her for about a month. Luckily she got another one but now gives me $50 less a week for our daughter.

So I'm not taking in as much and all the bills keep going up. I must say I am still one of the fortunate ones but dam is it rough.

Keep you head up people and take it one day at a time.

That's hard especially if you are raising your daughter all by yourself.

I am very fortunate that I still live at home, so I don't have any bills to pay. I just have to pay for my education and my car, and after that's paid off I can start saving for the future.

We still get raises at my job and bonuses (twice a year). Obviously our bonuses depend on how well we did last year in revenue and in customer service.

My dad's job used to send him out to various places in the US, and he would accept the offer to go as they paid him more money. However, because of the economic situation the company now has the jobs sent here and he works on them over here. They are doing this to save some money by not having to fly him out to various places.

We have been lucky here in Aus that we haven't really felt the 'global crisis' too much. There has been companies that have closed down or moved processes to China but they've been uncovered as using the situation as an excuse.

I have no idea how we did it, but somehow we've kept our heads above water, which is amazing since we've never had a government that could organise a root in a brothel.....

thats a bloody good thing that yer government couldnt organise a root sir thats the problem we have over here the government has sticky fingers

VersaMG08 They break down their new members and mold them into other NICO clones, it's an endless cycle. If you don't obey, either blend in or get recycled.
