Well where do I start..... It was brand new with 12 miles when I bought in 2012, and it went into service more than I used it for. I only owned it for 10 months, and its a shame because I really really like it. Heres my list:

*Since day one and untill I traded, I bought the uconnect system with Bluetooth, and the system would always hang up the phone when I dialed out to someone, but was fine for incoming calls. They kept telling me that my 2010 model phone was to new for the 2012 jeep system, not true, I have it paired to many Nissans, no problem, faut them tooth and nail, and no fix. Eventually Kept telling me Im not the only one, and the fix is on the way.

*The car pulled to the right when I got it, and had to have it aligned twice before it was fixed. The guy told me the 2nd time, maybe its me or the road is slanted. I said ive driven the same road with 5 different cars already, Its not normal, and sure enough, the 2nd alignment did the trick.

*It had long cranking times, no matter the weather or temperature. At least 2-3 times a week, it would take about 5-10 secs before it cranked over. Dealer said its fine, just needs an update. Fine. Update fixed it so it would only do it 1-2 a week.

*The keyless entry system worked when it wanted too. Some days in the same spot, would work from a distance, other days I would have to open the door with the key. Dealer said, nothing wrong, it works fine.

*The mpg was about 23-27. I got about 21 city and 23 hwy, going 60mph, and light on the gas. In the winter I would get about 18mpg. This was a 2.0, cvt. Dealer said its running normal.

*The drivers side tail light went out, and my blinker started blinking really fast. Dealer said the tail light harness needed replacing, because the pins in the socket were bent, causing the issues, replaced harness under warranty.

*The system was designed to lock the doors when speed reached 15 mph. The door locked whenever it wanted. Some times when it should, sometimes after 30 mins going 60 mph. Dealer said it was fine, no problems.

*They had to replace the whole brake system cause the brakes were squealing, and they couldn't pin point it.

*Sometimes the wipers would stop and go when in use.

*The vent to body/foot would get stuck and it would stay there until defroster was set, then it would free itself.

*The last thing that got me was, when it rained, the rear tailgate would leak water, and water would be in my cargo area, all over the window, panels, etc. Took pictures, and they said after several hand washing's, forced water in the cracks, no problem. My jeep was fine.

*recall the day I traded it in, for the airbags and seat belts may not do their job in a crash.

I finally had enough of the BS and excuses and got rid of it for the Rogue. I have 6500 miles on the Rogue, and no one problem, not one!! Nothing, zero. Thats japan made cars for ya. I was part of a jeep patriot forum, and everyone else had similar problems, especially with the leaking that chrysler wont admit too!

I miss my sentra as well. But I really wanted an SE-R spec V, and the sentra wasn't cutting it for my home depot trips. So thats why I got the jeep

Honestly, I think it was a good thing. The jeep had a really boring drive. If you tried to have some fun and take that turn a little sharp, he'd say nah bruh, I don't think so, and then apply the brakes, lol. The rogue begs to be driven hard, and I love it, and I love the torque the QR puts out. So you can say that as much as I loved the jeep, I really love my rogue. I'm happy to be back. My parents still own their 2010 cube SL and 2010 Sentra SR.

Wow! That Jeep sounds like one POS! I'm glad you got rid of that thing. It looked real nice in the pictures, but that just shows that pictures can be misleading haha. Glad you're back in the Nissan fam

Yeah, that's what I thought too about pictures. I really loved the style of the patriot, but chryslers engineering really sucks, bad on these newer cars. Thanks again, glad to be back.
