Hi,
yes as many of you know I traded my wonderful 36MPG Blue Versa for a 2014 Nissan Sentra.

One of the reasons why I traded is I wanted an automatic. Also the master clutch cylinder was acting up and needed replacing, that's fine no big deal.

Maybe if the Versa was automatic today I would still be driving it, but I just got tired of changing gears, I'm getting old and I just want to press the gas and hit the brakes. My blue versa was a wonderful car and it will be missed :frown I mean...great car...just wished it was automatic

okay lets move on to the new Sentra

I really like this one. I love the color, I wanted a white car so that it won't get so hot in the sun so that's a plus :wink
its got CVT transmission...something new
Yes I read horrible terrible news about that CVT tranny don't last 20,000 miles and the computer messes up, or the car don't go over 30MPH and gets stuck and it won't go faster....Yes I heard it all and that is fine and I'm up to the challenge :smile Bring it!!!! I will do whatever nissan tells me to do to keep the CVT running. I expect it to last me at least 200,000 miles...at least. my blue versa had 151,000 miles and the only thing that went wrong was the clutch master clynder 157.00 dollar part and a small shop quoted me 120.00 for labor if I bring the OEM part. the fluid needs to be changed every 30,000 miles and i believe the cost for that is 250.00 dollars. maybe when I get my income tax return each year I will change the fluid because I will be putting lots of lots of miles on this new sentra.
the CVT is like a bicycle derailleur gear. I like riding bicycles so I kinda know what the car is trying to tell me so I just drive it like a bicycle

Comfort is awesome on this car. its got the outside temperature gage and the AC is super cold, the seats go up and down, and it has a spot to put my glasses on the roof top and cortesy LED lights. lots of room in the back seat and it has a rear arm rest with cup holders just like Versa SL.
it also has an arm rest. my versa didn't have arm rest so that right there is scoring more points. its got power windows power locks key less entry and trunk realese. and it also has an extra socket outlet to run more electric stuff like a cell phone or MP3 and I have an adapter that runs 2 USB ports.
so I can add 4 USB ports using the two sockets.

really like how it looks. I like the LED headlights

got the windows tinted yesterday. got 35% all around [legal limit in TN] and 15% on the windshield strip

I will take better pics. so that's all I got for now. you can now find me at sentraforums.com whtsentra18

any questions commets I will answer them the best I can.

is it fast? No...this sentra is built to save money on gas so the fact that is slow doesn't bother me.
is it faster than my blue versa.......I think this one has better 0-60 but my blue versa may have better 60-80mph or maybe even. i really cannot tell any difference and don't care :smile bc that's not why I bought it. I bought it because its an automatic and she's white

here's a 0-60 video against the honda civic and toyota corolla.
not huge difference or any at all

Whatever floats your boat. What motor are they using in the new gen Sentra anyways?

1.8
Horsepower: 130 @ 6000
Torque: 128 @ 3600

would also like to add the roof of the sentra is lower than the Versa but the seats are still kinda high and have the same visibility :wink and yes I miss the versa I wish I could still have it but I needed it to low the payments on the sentra. is like gettting a new GF or something

Congrats on the new car. Awesome choice. I test drove one couple months back when I went in for oil change and it was very nice. Kind of wished you would of gone for the SR though. That sports package on it makes it look 100 times nicer. None the less very nice choice, hope you enjoy it.

nah....this sentra is as slow as the versa, corolla and civic and its not made for speed. it does look huge for its class, from far away the rear kinda looks like a camry....

I still miss my blue Versa and speaking of my blue versa what are the chances of seeing her again at a gas station?

I'm not joking, I was like hey that's my ex

who knows where they were taking her, but here she is, one last pic

hope she gets a good owner

You took good care of it, it'll do somebody right. Sure looks in good shape. Hmmm I won't miss the faux vw hubcaps ;) but bluV looking good.
