my husband fixed some rust holes and rhino-lined part of our '86 honda prelude si
there was a huge rust hole right by the sun roof...it would leak and drip down into the interior...but now you can't even tell it was there!!
the rest of the car is in relatively good shape...we plan on rhino-lining the rest of the car to stop rust from coming...and then probably next summer it will become my rallycross car! i'm excited...we will get some rally lights for the front now we just need to find a manual transmission to swap into it!
The other day I registered my dakota now I gotta replace a light housing In the front and get the wipers fixed so they work so I can get it through state inspection.
Well...my brother's Altima needed tires so I started looking around on CL and came around a set of 2002 Infiniti G20 alloys for $150. Prime Well tires aren't the greatest(quality wise) but the wheels alone are worth double in my opinion. They just need some cleaning. Here are the pics...
Dave got a bath. Now I'm gonna drive him around for the evening He only has 2588 kms, and is now 5 months old. I've probably put over half of those kms on him I have to say; I love driving him.
Those g20 wheels won't fit the front of the versa without a spacer. There is a post on this forum with pics somewhere.
Today I went to the muffler shop to have new hangers welded onto the 02 g20 exhaust. That went well then noticed one of the wheels are bent . Stupid butter soft wheels. The 16" stock g20 wheels are soft. Not the 15" posted earlier in this thread.
What do the 16s look like? And would you mind finding that thread for me? I plan on getting them for my V later on so it would be good to know the info instead of making a thread when I get them.
Don't get the 16's they are butter soft. I need a new one right now. This will be the 6th new wheel between me and the previous owner i'm done with them. The 97-98 240sx base has the same wheel with higher offset that might work better.
I drove brother's Chrysler van rental last week. Comfy and useful with StownGo seats, but rather um leisurely acceleration with 3.3L motorHe did say he was impressed with better fuel economy than his Nissan Quest. He had the rental cuz he plowed into a deer with the Quest! Occupants ok but poor deer not so much.
My neighbour also has Chrysler van 3.3L. Is Dave a FlexFuel motor? It says FlexFuel on the hatch? Is FlexFuel [ethanol blend I think] useful at all? I've never heard of anyone using FlexFuel to their advantage yet. 08v
I installed HID's today, went well, till 7 seconds later, the drivers side went out. Plugged in the old bulb, and nothing. High beam works, low beam has no power now. Took it all out, returning the product, and ill take sparky to Nissan on monday to find out what happened, and have it fixed under warranty, lol.
My brother is visiting for the weekend. I had to take his car into the dealer for him ... he is getting a few things replaced under warranty.
I wish I had test driven the SE-R before. So much more power than Kit ... makes it really easy to get on the highway and pass people. I never knew what I was missing until I really got to drive this thing today!

08V: I drove the SE-R to Toronto last night. Only thing I hate are the dark tinted windows. It makes it difficult to see on the highway at night. But the extra power in that car made it so nice for speeding up and passing.
