2013 Nissan Sentra preview

Not sure if you guys are wanting a new car to trade the Versa in for a compact, slightly powerful and more room. It resembles that of a Kia Forte, Maxima and Hyundai.

A 1.8? What happened to 2.0? How much more HP does it make? What kind of MPG are we talking? I like the rear. It looks like a maxima. I likey! Im glad to see they went with push button start, but no cluster needle sweep? Thats not cool!

I'm not sure how much, maybe 130-140hp is my estimation. What I'd like Nissan to do is get rid of the analog fuel gauge for a digital one, the B16 is a digital bar so this would be a step backwards. Otherwise, they're downgrading to 1.8, unless its for increased fuel consumption that wouldn't make sense.

I dunno, it goes both ways about the gas gauge with me. I personally like the needle, but after having the digital, it looks cleaner.

The front end looks like a Lexus IS350. But definitely a nice look to it!

Yeah same here. I like it....... But I think my 2011 Sentra SR looks sportier, and more aggresive. This just looks classy, and corolla like. Its like Nissan has went soft and fluffy, then hard and mean. Ive always known Nissan to be all about performace. But it seems latly they are trying to keep up with Toyota, then be different, just my 2 cents. As an example, Nissan always used a bigger engine, for cars in the same class. Most sentra classes are 1.8, well Nissan was 2.0. Most Versa classes were 1.6, Nissan was 1.8. Most sedan classes were 2.4, Nissan was 2.5. Now a days, everyone sportn the 2.0, 1.8, 2.5. Seems latly Nissan is stepping down to make better MPG, and instead I think they just need to keep the engines, but tweak them better for MPG. Or just do Like the kia rio, 1.6, 138hp and still gets between 30-40. Why does the Versa have 1.6 109hp and get 30-38 MPG? Yes I know the Versa is bigger, and maybe thats why its 2mpg less, but if it had 138hp to move that body better, maybe it would be better MPG? Once again my two cents. Basically, I dunno if im happy with where Nissan is going. I like my fun to drive, sporty like cars, and im just affraid Nissan is tossing in the towl for those types of cars......
