Does anyone know if there is a block heater made specifically for the 12+ Versa, hr16de? If so, does anyone have part #?

I'm heading to Alaska next year and need some help with this.

I may resort to installing a lower radiator hose heater.

I have a heater pad for the oil pan and battery already.

Please chime in on what you've done to winterize your V sedan for Arctic conditions, below 0F.

I live in Ontario, Canada and I have no problems with really cold conditions, but Alaska gets way colder so I can't really say much. The battery is really the most crucial for this car. As it doesn't use particularly thick oil or have very high compression. Whats the CCA rating for your battery? The stock battery for the 1.8's is fairly beefy for a 4 banger, 495 I think, but it may be lower on the 1.6. What you have already should be plenty sufficient for cold starting.
