I need to fill up my coolant bc it's low and I need to know what cheap brand do y'all use I'm going to Walmart in an hour please help me get the right green one

And Ive been trying to get a real step by step guide to help me do it but I can't find a noob guide to draining it like a pro

But for now can I just add the said coolant to the current in the side box resavor ?

Also how do I fix a defrost button ? I have to hit it for 20^ min to get it to work

I just use any old cheap universal style coolant. not a big deal in our cars, and yes, just add it into the overflow resevoir. I've been thinking about doing a how to on coolant changes in the versa. I dont know if we have an actual drain plug, so i'd have to check. if we dont, its just gonna be unclamping the lower hose and letting it drain out.

As for the defrost button, a lot of us have that problem. I'm not sure why it happens..
There is a drain plug for the radiator. In the very bottom of the radiator accessed from the bottom. It is a plastic screw that is removed with a phillips screw driver. (#2 or #3 phillips, I can't recall).

Not much more to write up about a drain and fill procedure for the radiator.
if it's only down a bit, i just top off with water, but not too much or it'll be too diluted. i've never ever flushed coolant. never been a problem in thirty years of driving
Prestone green coolant is fine.

If you are topping off with water make sure to have a bubble coolant gauge to see exactly how much protection the coolant is offering.

In my experience at my old job, Dex Cool become super nasty and sludgey if it never was flushed. Its not a bad idea to get coolant flushed every so often!
