Racingline is proud to announce the release of its 2007+ Nissan Versa / Tiida short throw shift kit. Constructed out of anodized billet 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel, the kit looks great and is extremely durable thanks to it's high quality components. All necessary hardware is provided and is grade 10.9 or greater.

This Short shift kit is a transmission adapter type kit, and will reduce throws by approx. 34%. Shift feeling is also greatly improved as the entire kit is carefully weighted so that shifting does not become notchy or troublesome. Reverse lock-out function is unaffected.

Nothing but the highest quality that you expect from Racingline, and the sportiness your Nissan should have come with from the factory!

:drool5: me want!

Also great find!
Next week I'm gunna order it
Seeing new parts this late in the production (Sorry mind is blanking on the correct term(s)) is making me hopeful of new aftermarket support for our platform.
^ This! Now if we could just get that dc sports header to come out and the micro image intake manifold
Two weeks this is mine, not even two week. Also its about damn time! Oh and shy guy don't expect to see much more, this is just a component that has been under the knife for quite sometime.

I also want thier lower torque mount.
Heck yea! That's my next mod after I finish the seat install. Stiff mounts may vibrate a little but it is so worth it.

Can't believe I missed the torque mount! Too many goodies!
Torque mount will be a great mod. Then I can take all the other mounts and make em solid with some window weld.
What about the grounding kit, does it really do something??
Never heard of that, does anyone knows more about it or have it installed?

Any electrical system will benefit from better grounding, allowing current the flow unrestricted. It helps with higher HP cars that rev much higher than we will ever see. IMHO it's a gimmick. Kind of like using an msd box with the spark assist, kinda useless unless your making 500+ HP @ 10,000+ rpm's.

I'm not surprised. Look at the resale value of our cars. You can now buy a 5 year old versa with 100k on the clock for 6-7 grand. Now that the car is getting nto the cheap realm, more companies are coming to the table as a younger crowd is buying the cars rather than the original market base of old people and recent college grads.

Also, I believe a lot of company's were holding out thinking the next gen versa was gonna get a high performance spec (Tiida gts) instead were getting the note with the 1.6. Also, the spec v sentra was eliminated for this model year, so the first gen versa is getting more attention now.
so the first gen versa is getting more attention now.
The 1.8 hatch has always gotten the most attention from the aftermarket. Its the better platform of Versas. Sorry 1.6L guys lol.

On all new vehicles a grounding kit can be beneficial and may even get you one or two extra killawasps out of your V.

Most people forget that current runs from negative to positive or positive to negative (polarity dependent) and yet earthing is never really been a huge thing (read and read again you DIY stereo kiddies!).

My last modified car go a dyno'd extra 3.5Kw from running a few extra earth leads, plus it also fixed an issue with my stereo too, so double win :D

Back on topic, I would LOVE the short shifter and torque mount, but with over $100 in shipping it to Aus, looks like I'll live with a slightly longer throw :S

Sorry about that Woody, if I can find a better option I'll let you know. I love in a border town and can ship from the USA if need be but the best rate I can get so far is $56 and transit time is about 10 days. Plus youd have to wait till the next time I cross (usually once every 2 weeks)
