Hello all. My 2007 Nissan Versa SL is having intermittent issues with the ignition. I have a key fab and twice in the past week I have not been able to unlock my car automatically. Instead, I have to manually use the key to unlock it. Then I cannot turn the ignition with the key fab or when I manually use the key. Not even to get it to accessory mode. I tried jumping it and that did not work. This has only happened when it is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit at night. I have been able to turn the light on within the car so there is some power. I took it to an autobody shop and they said the battery was in good shape. Any thoughts? Is anyone aware of Nissan Versa bulletins?

How is the battery in the key fob?

Also double check the car battery and connection. A battery that does not have a clean connection can sometimes manifest weird issues.

Mine did that the other day, 2012 nissan versa sv, battery connection was loose.
