Hi All-
Got a 2007 Versa and the driver-side rear tail-light assembly is out. all lights at one time. is this a relay problem potentially? i checked the fuses and they are all fine. i had all these lights replaced about 10k miles ago. any thoughts???

clean connections

as you probably already know - it's tough to get to the taillights. but you can get to the connections. i checked those and they are all clean and connected.

that's why i'm thinking some sort of relay is to blame.

good suggestion

everything is sealed up tight. i stuck a compressor hose in through the tiny access holes provided in the trunk. blew everything out and had a little dust shoot out, but nothing else. i can't imagine any moisture getting in there. nissan seals that assembly up pretty tight, but without taking the housing completely off, it's impossible to tell.

p.s. taking it to the mechanic today (not the dealership) to see what they say. our local nissan dealership stinks. they want to charge me $250 just for taking a look.

i'll post to the forum with the results.

Sockets?

thanks for the tip. i'll ask my mechanic about that when i bring it in.

i'm not trying to sound snarky or anything - i'm just wondering how it would be possible that all three sockets could go out at one time. i can understand if H2O was leaking into the assembly, but that's not happening. i may just have a faulty assembly.
